WHAT?
Energy Performance Future: An Energy Managers Association conference examining the issues associated with the energy performance contracting market place.
“The Energy Managers Association is working with supporting partners to create guidelines concerning Energy Performance Contracts (EnPCs). It is envisaged the EnPC Guideline Document will significantly expand the marketplace, reducing energy consumption by commercial and domestic users. The aim of the EnPC Guideline Document will be to create non-organisation specific guidelines that can be used by entities considering EnPCs. The central tenet of which will be to reduce risk and therefore costs to all parties.
This select, invitation-only conference will explore the hindrances and blockage points in the EnPC sector. With speakers and delegates representing all stakeholders including sellers, buyers and service providers, big and small, An Energy Performance will provide a focal point for discussion as we continue to work towards the publication of Energy Performance Contracting guidelines in July 2013. In advance of the conference the Strategy Board has created working groups exploring the existing blockage points to EnPCs in the UK. As well as a forum to hear the opinion of industry leaders and peers, delegates will have the opportunity to make their views known in a Question & Answer session, and join afternoon breakout workshops addressing these blockage points.”
